Is call recording on graphene os possible?

Hi. Is it possible to record calls on graphene os? I heard apps are run in separate instances similar to virtual machines and cannot reach top level / root, which is necessary to get access to function recording.

And is it possible to launch voice recorders on graphene os or are recorders prohibited at all.

Call recording was added to GrapheneOS in the April 4th update.

Call recording functionality within the Dialer app using modern Android storage with recordings stored in Recordings/Call Recordings and no restrictions based on region or special cases like playing a recording tone (users are still responsible for complying with their local laws).

Is there any tips on how to use this? It doesn't appear in my dialer (ver 23)...BUT, it did appear 1x when I tested a conference call with my wife and son. I hit record, but it didn't appear in my recordings folder.
Google pixel 6 pro, all up to date.

Please advise. Thanks!

adeyo For some users the record button is hidden from the in-call UI because there is only space for 6 buttons. If that's the case for you, once the other person picks up the phone, swipe up from the middle of the screen, and you should then see the call record button.
