Today I tried to finally switch over to GrapheneOS since I got a new Pixel to replace my old one. Installation/Flashing was a breeze but upon setting up the new device I realized that the usual "restore from your old phone" option is not available (which totally makes sense in hindsight). Having to download apps again wouldn't be that much of a hassle (although app data would be kinda nice) but transferring call history, sms, settings, wifis, images etc. would be a bit of an annoyance for me.
Searching the forum and other resources I've read that seedvault was previously used to be a replacement for this but is not supported anymore.
Is there a recommended way of restoring said data from an old phone running stock android or is one expected to do a clean install?
Thanks in advance!
