Flashing vs reset because of esim

Hi say I want to wipe my graphene phone to start again fresh.
Is it necessary to flash the phone or factory reset good enough?

I have an esim and it can cost each time I need to set it up....so I would prefer to keep my esim

eSIM isn't wiped when flashing another OS or factory resetting, so with both options, you're good there.

There aren't really any benefits to re-flashing vs factory resetting if you want to continue using GrapheneOS; just factory reset it and you're good to go.

matchboxbananasynergy thanks for the swift and helpful reply. Yeah I want to continue to use graphene, I just wasnt sure if there was any sensitive data that would be left behind when doing a factory reset.
