Still the same problem though, everyone clamours for GrapheneOS on a laptop, fair enough - sounds great. Android apps aren’t really good for replacing desktop apps. Perhaps people will develop them? But as was seen from the ‘iPad is a computer’ fiasco, very few apps take advantage and are best used on a phone in the first place (though some excellent exceptions exist). For surfing and other tasks, great. But a phone ecosystem isn’t truly replacing anyone’s desktop or laptop. Luckily macOS has very secure hardware, and privacy and price aside, it’s a workable system and most of the regular apps one needs on a traditional computer have a version.
I just can’t see the point of an Android based laptop until Android has desktop class software for it.
