GrapheneOS Messaging version 14 released

BurningMoreThanWords

I have an issue with notifications not clearing after viewing them. They have to be manually dismissed instead of automatically doing so once I've viewed the conversation.

do you think that you could add "mark as read" and "reply" to the secondary profile sms notifications as well as dismiss them when you click onto them and are in the app, just like the implementation on owner profiles, thanks

So cool thank you!

Is there a chance to not call it "SMS/MMS"?

That's at least the name in the (partly translated) German version. I think it sounds odd, also if RCS is about to be integrated, should it be named "SMS/MMS/RCS"?

I personally would prefer something as Messages or Conversations.

Thanks everyone

I second that. "Messages" or "GOS Messages" would be good options IMHO.

What I'm missing ? Is this new Gos messaging app ?

79doosan What I'm missing ?

If you're still on Stable, you're missing over a years worth of updates and fixes between version 12 and version 15.

It appears that version 14 isn't going to reach stable and I expect a version 15 release announcement soon.
