penglix "backport cellular modem firmware from Android 17 QPR1" Is this the update that fixes the bug that the CPU activates the cellular modem all the time (even if the smartphone is in plane mode) and thus causing a lot of battery drain? https://www.engadget.com/2227094/google-says-it-has-fixed-a-pixel-battery-drain-issue-but-some-users-disagree/
r134a Changes since the 2026091000 release: backport cellular modem firmware from Android 17 QPR1 Thank u, i'll probably switch from stable to beta or perhaps alpha for this one.
bitestring add secure paste feature for disallowing apps reading the clipboard on their own and instead requiring pasting via OS functionality including the OS selection toolbar, input methods (keyboard apps), keyboard shortcuts or accessibility services for pasting Keyboard: add paste chip to offer pasting recently copied content when there's nothing else to show as an option These two are quality of life improvements. Thanks Graphene team.
Graphene1 Maybe a daft question, but will the secure paste feature work with FUTO Keyboard or the stock keyboard only?
GrapheneOS @SYS We linked to the release notes listing all significant changes. There's no need to ask whether a specific feature was implemented or a specific bug was resolved. It would be in the linked release notes.
xxx Installing now. Will report later. Device came up normal. I used adb sideload. Now back to stable.
pizzadequeso "add per-app toggle for disallowing apps reading the clipboard with a global toggle to make it the default" Works with gboard or futo?
GrapheneOS pizzadequeso It will work regardless of which keyboard you use, but you won't be able to paste into apps not using the OS selection menu when clipboard access it disabled unless you have a keyboard with paste functionality. We added basic support for it to AOSP Keyboard in this release and Gboard already had it.
bKwwuap57D2bSFhHigrX Will we need to wait until Google allows/pushes QPR1 to AOSP to get the other 100 something fixes from 9/5/2026 bulletin?
gristle-cause 2026091700 incorporates this patch? I don't see an explicit reference in the release notes
ClickClickDrone GrapheneOS Thank you for the swift security fix for CVE-2026-58704. Mod note: edited at user's request.
Pocketstar All is well at 2026091701 on my P6a, P7, Pixel tablet and P9Pxl, no problems so far! Haven't done any cellular and Play Services testing. Another fantastic update by the GrapheneOS developers! Thank you!
Hat No errors on 9a at first glance, voicemail OK, sending and receiving SMS on owner profile OK. Internet with cellular network ok
e-double Since updating to this release I'm unable to place phone calls via cellular or "wifi calling". I am able to receive calls. I'm using a pixel 9 pro XL, my carrier is t-mobile. When attempting to place a call the dialer application displays "Server error. Try again later". Any ideas? This situation is rather inconvenient =)
Johnnyloans e-double Try shutting the phone off for 3 minutes and do this Settings > reset > reset mobile
