TheSilentHive Saw a tweet where GrapheneOS said they plan on implementing RCS in their own messaging app. Any rumors (or facts) on how soon this could be implemented? Very nice to see the improvements ahead!
Dumdum TheSilentHive https://xcancel.com/GrapheneOS/status/2097028487559127332#m We don't have a timeline for it especially since we're only in the early planning phase for it. We want to overhaul the Messaging app a lot more before figuring out how to implement RCS. It will be a lot of work to add RCS even without E2EE via MLS and avoiding needing GMS.
TheSilentHive Dumdum appreciate that follow up. Unrelated, I heard xcancel was ordered to shut down, so I have something new to explore, lol.
