aeroplane mode

It seems I inadvertently, or maybe some app/update, turns on aeroplane mode. Is it possible to either remove aeroplane modet completely, or fix it so it makes no different if on or off? Currently, if I search on 'aer' , it shows two headings-
the first with (a plane icon) with text saying 'Aeroplane mode', then below 'Settings>Network and Internet' (which links to where aeroplane mode can be turned on or off - it is off)
the second states 'Aeroplane mode is on' ,then below 'Settings>Network and Internet>Internet' which links to the Internet page only.

gungadin it's called airplane mode, not aeroplane mode which might cause issues when you search for it.

You can also toggle it on and off from the quick tiles when you swipe down from the notification bar.

treequell Thanks for your reply, but in UK English, the screen displays exactly as I showed- 'aeroplane'. A search for 'air' gives nothing. Anyway, it is something not needed by myself, and the search results seem ambiguous. The quick tiles only show the settings when dragged all the way down, too.
