normieprivacy Any good RSS app is useful, I use Read You (https://github.com/ReadYouApp/ReadYou).

RSS can help you track podcasts, YouTube channels, app updates, weather updates, forums, Reddit, Twitter and other microblog platforms, and much more. It helped me replace a lot of apps I thought I was dependent on.

GOS: RethinkDNS, KeePassDX, Signal TW-HX, Threema-Libre, SimpleX, Osmand+ (F-Droid version via Obtainium), Cryptomator, Floccus bookmark sync, LocalSend, WormHole, NewPipe, DAVx5, K-9 Mail for use with a paid encrypted email provider, Tuta, GadgetBridge, Orbot (if necessary), Heliboard keyboard. No mobile phone number, only a silent.link anonymous data only eSIM.

Rethink DNS firewall is the most important privacy and security app that I got.

RideTheTiger This is one of the best apps you can install on GOS. But I don't use it. If you see my app list, it's very short. I don't even have email. Only apps I absolutely need have internet access (GOS has a built-in firewall). Rethink DNS won't be very useful since most of my connections go through Tor or NymVPN. I only use my phone over Wi-Fi and only when I have to (CoMaps shows where there's available open Wi-Fi). Maybe my approach isn't for everyone, but I've learned to let myself decide when I want to use my phone and not succumb to the trends of instant messaging and constant availability. btw, Vanadium has JavaScript globally blocked.

BurningMoreThanWords I've been looking at it (Mage) and I feel like there's too much content and descriptions versus usability. AgePony is just one app in a whole bunch of similar ones. I like the approach of writing the core in Rust and the Android part in Kotlin. That's a very good approach. However, it's a new app and probably still needs time to be properly tested. So I'm using it with caution.
