FunkTastic Some people already confirmed the bootloader is unlockable, if he bought it from something like Google store or Amazon then it has to be unlockable.

But @DeletedUser1090 bare in mind that to unlock the bootloader if the phone is completely new, you'll have to connect to the internet first because the smartphone sort of doesn't know if it's supposed to be locked or unlocked.
(This happened to me with Pixel 9).

DeletedUser1111 The initial bootloader unlocking request goes to Google which may or may not supply the respective key. The situation may change in future, so I wouldn't wait.

Norman No. I do like to upgrade, but keep spare devices handy for testing/fallback and tech support.

I don't know if I will keep the Pixel 11 Pro just yet, however. I might cancel the pickup if the development delay is extended.

The Pixel 9 and iPhone 16e were bought secondhand, the former when I wasn't sure if the P10Pro would get Graphene.

You can be sure it'll take longer than 1 month.

The Pixel 10 series were first released on August right?

Short version: No ETA.

Long version: It's much too early to ask us when we'll have support for the new Pixel 11 phones.

I too am eagerly looking forward to this release. I think weeks is more realistic instead of months since the Pixel 10 had bigger generational speed bump (both software and hardware), but now that those have been addressed it should make for a smoother transition for the 11 to get ported in. At least thats my hopes. I enjoy using the Pixel 11, but hate that I'm giving Google so much info into my life. I'll send another donation in soon hopefully to help encourage speed it up lol.

It was unpleasant to discover that with Pixel 11, "Pro" no longer guarantees 16GB RAM.
Now the base model with 256GB storage has only 12GB, that limits its use in Desktop mode and it's ability to run larger on-device LLMs

There's no schedule. There's no way for there to be a schedule. Hopes are 100% OK, but it won't be ready before it's ready (if it can be done).

Pixels have become much harder to support. AOSP 16 removed support for Pixels and they became harder to properly support than many other devices rather than easier. It's crucial to keep up with the major OS updates to provide all the security patches and we do but it's much harder for us now.

Motorola will provide everything that GOS needs. I personally would go this route for stability and bug support.

It appears that the Pixel 11 series may have cut down on ARM MTE support.

EDIT: MTE support seems to be entirely gone in the Pixel 11 series

They implemented Titan M3 which was cool but then do this..

I suggest create new thread to notify about this.

I guess since they didn't use it (a part of Android Advanced Protection Mode since Android 16 for a few processes) it wasn't profitable for them.

Advanced protection is a complete joke compared to GrapheneOS. It only enables MTE to apps declaring support for it which is near zero for the apps people use. Not even Signal has it.
