Which Australian banking apps have in-built contactless payments

Since Google Pay doesn't work what do you use

Only CBA. I've checked all other banks in Australia and they're the only ones that still have it (others like NAB have shut it down).

CBAs works with Graphene at all the major stores like Woolies, Coles, JB etc but I have had a couple failures on more budget terminals at Cafes etc occasionally so I still carry a physical card as backup

NAB definitely has "contactless payments". I don't use it myself but it is available with Google Pay, Apple Pay and Samsung Pay. If you're a business, NAB has Easy Tap which allows you to convert your android phone into a payment terminal.

The NAB apps do work with GOS; you have to disconnect any VPN you're using before install and then turn back on afterwards.

budgie they all have tap and go enabled with Google, Samsung and Apple pay but not built into their own app anymore like CBA does. For GOS users we need it to be built into the app and the CBA app still has that. NAB Pay was shut down about 3 years ago.

Privatejack I have nearby devices, senors, network and notifications enabled for the CBA app and NFC turned on device wide and that works for me with tap and go

CBA tap pay has been working fine for me last year or so. Recently it's been flaky and when I tap pay I'll get a pop up asking to use Google wallet.

I've never installed Google wallet and no idea why this happens. Once it does that machine/tap pay will not work. This is on a Pixel 7 Pro.

The same machine/tap will work on partners Pixel 9 with GrapheneOS and CBA.

Is there anything that can be done to fix this? Caught me out a few times and left a bit stranded with no way to pay
