I'm on a Pixel 6 and I am using a dongle and a normal aux cord to connect to an old pair of headphones. I am using the app AntennaPod, for what that's worth. As of this afternoon, I can't seem to get more than 3 minutes of continuous playback from the app, and often much less, more like 10 seconds. At the point of failure, it interrupts, but on the lock screen, but it appears to still be playing.
Things I've done:
- tried another aux cable
- tried another app (VLC)
- removed AntennaPod from battery optimization
Finally, I've played the file without a wired connection. Although I have had longer play before interruption, it still does cut out. It goes a bit static-y and, after a space of 2 to 10 seconds, resumes playback, usually to fail again very soon. This is all without intervention on my part.
I am a little bit at a loss of what to do with this situation, which seems to affect more than one app. Any advice is appreciated.
