Pixel 9a and connection to 5G/4G network

Hi,
my pixel 9a seems to be disconnecting from the cellular network.
Pattern is as follows:
Start phone - connected to 5G/4G / incoming and outgoing calls work
after a while 4G/5G symbols disappear from top right of phone. Signal bars have an exclamation mark.
Resetting network options and restarting phone will fix the issue - not for long though.

SIM card works fine with older phones at the same spot.

Can you make a call when it breaks?

When it is broken down this:
phone call app > dial *#*#4363#*#* > phone information > signal strength what does it say?

@Novaliss yes I tried 4G-Only and had the same issue
@Johnnyloans no I can't make outgoing calls. In fact it is one of the ways I know I won't receive calls and restart phone.
4363 isn't returning anythting.

Cell modem seemingly nonfunctional but fixed after a reboot sounds like a hardware issue with the phone. Is it still under warranty?
I hope your issue is fixed with a reinstall or stockOS :)

My first assessment could be wrong.

I think this is the website that shows warranty status. As soon as you log into the Google play store, it'll add the device here for you. Just use the same email as before.

Johnnyloans out of curiosity i tested the *#*#4363#*#* code and it no longer seems to work. the code disappears in the phone app once the last * is entered and nothing appears to happen. this is with cell service on a P9, stock dialer.

It is under warranty but I never registered the phone with google / don't use google store.
After format things are back, but I believe same pattern will happen (I did format already a while back).
I don't know about the hardware issue. Phone is pretty much new. Wifi speed, calls work without an issue other than after a day or so the phone gets disconnected (i.e when I try to dial a number doesn't work and when I dial doesn't work either). Text messages work.
With the latest update wifi wasn't working. For example when I was trying to add a network I was getting a message saying something 'Can't add this network at this moment'.

I have been running my Pixel 9a without extra profiles for multiple days now and I have had no issue of getting disconnected from the network or not getting phone calls.
Therefore, there is an issue with extra profiles and getting disconnected.
