App to password protect other apps at startup?

I have a few apps that doesn't natively support password/passcode on launch/splashscreen so I'm on the lookout for an app that can provide this feature but haven't been able to find any that seem trustworthy?

Any suggestions?

trilogy6202 I had a smartphone from another brand that had this feature.
But now with GrapheneOS I have a separate user profile for some apps.
It's a little less convenient but it's more robust because the profile and data for those apps stays encrypted when I log out of that profile.

Why go to such lengths as using another app to password protect apps separately? There is already one that you have, called lockscreen. With the time delay for entering password, even 4 digit PIN is sufficient to protect you from brute forcing your phone and it takes couple of seconds longer than fingerprint unlock. If you are worried that contents of your apps get exposed when you hand it in to other persons hands, just set up a different profile for that particular use with its own set of apps installed. You can put a shortcut on homescreen to quickly switch between profiles by using this app: https://f-droid.org/packages/de.szalkowski.activitylauncher/

Use the Shelter app and put key things within that. Shelter can have a separate code.

Yeah maybe your right, I already use a 8 digit PIN in stead of fingerprint and 1 min auto-lock so maybe I'm just paranoid. I only lent my phone to people I trust so the separate app PINs is only meant as extra protection in case of theft.

But now with GrapheneOS I have a separate user profile for some apps.

I use separate user profiles for apps that require GSF and GSF+Play but I have a few app that I rather wouldn't have to move to a separate profile. But thanks for the input,
