I am new to Grapheneos and so I am trying various apps and configurations. When I decide on a setup I like, I am planning to factory reset and reinstall the apps to clean out miscellaneous garbage files that get stored up. It's time consuming and I often miss things when I manually set the settings. Is there a way to export and import the settings kind of like there is a way to export and import the contacts? I've tried the seedvault thing, but it does not restore the settings very well.

please, I need feature/trick as such too. Not only for backup but for working with multiple profiles as well, I have for example my notification tiles set up in a specific way, but only on my main profile. I use about 5 profiles total, 3 on weekly basis and I didn't find the time to tweak all of them to my liking, so I use the non-main drivers kinda vanilla and it just is not really comfortable.
It would be great to be able to export my settings and them tweak them on individual basis depending on the aim of the profile reather than having to tweak each profile separately from zero.

This is basically what I just joined for, to ask something very similar.
I installed GrapheneOS. I've watched several videos that show how to setup various phone settings (for improved privacy, security, etc.). But, if I want to use multiple user profiles, then is there any way to copy over the settings from one user profile to another?
I don't even remember all the settings I changed when following guides, nor where to find them all, haha.
I wonder why there was no anser to this thread at all.

Are we expected to do this manually for 2, 3, 4+ different user profiles?

Pretty sure there is no way to export system settings. I don't expect that is a feature GrapheneOS will prioritize. However when Seedvault eventually gets replaced, maybe the settings will be backed up more correctly.

User profiles do not share settings because they are meant to be completely isolated. It would be tricky to correctly keep settings in sync because different users are unlocked at different times, and it would probably weaken the isolation.

If you want different profiles to have the same settings, expect to configure them as such manually.
