No offense but if you don't know what a PR is...its kinda hard to really make valid criticisms on a FOSS fork project...

Don't get me wrong, bugs suck, but a lot of complaints on GOS are just AOSP issues that were inherented down stream. Meanwhile GOS has made a fairly functional system for what it sets out to accomplish.

If it turly doesn't work for you, I don't even see what the point of complaining is. File a bug report or don't but saying GOS as a system "doesn't work" is dishonest.

Coming from someone that can identify 2 of the bugs described, one that was already mentioned to be an upstream issue, another that barely happens tbh. Its weird to add little things like "why was this keyboard design approved" as if GOS was the group developing the AOSP keyboard and not the android project itself...

James9x19 or developer options besides reduced animations.

Reduced animations through the developer options is a glitch-vector, also not needed today when the normal UI has a toggle for it.

James9x19 The keyboard app I've used on 10+ different phones (including 5 graphene phones) will only stay as the default keyboard for about 1-2 hours. Im constantly having to go back into the keyboard app and assign it as default. The standard keyboard is awful, I have no idea how that design got approved.

This is upstream. Use FUTO Keyboard or GBoard for the best experience keyboard currently. The default apps will be overhauled eventually. I've never had this issue with keyboards switching and I've not seen anyone complain about it.

James9x19 Screenshots stay on the screen (bottom left corner) and do not go away, even after closing the app and locking the phone. This happens about 1 out of every 3 Screenshots.

This is upstream but should be fixed by installing the markup app from the GOS App Store. I did experience this when I first got GOS.

Never had this problem and I haven't seen reports of it. Is this in all apps?

I've found GrapheneOS to be the least buggy OS I've ever used and it has the most polished apps once I found the right ones. iOS is way worse ime. Ya got to replace the apps if you want to improve your experience, however.

You should try Pixel 10 XL with Pixel OS then. That was by far my buggiest experience with a phone, changing that to GrapheneOS has vastly improved the experience. Google seems to be focused on things other than smooth reliable performance (probably all the AI integration crap).

Devices that have Developer Options enabled are not officially supported. Having it enabled increases attack surface and should not be used on any production devices. You should turn it off before reporting any issues.

I don't know how you've setup your phone but I'm a user for nearly 2 weeks now and didn't encounter such issues (since I've exited Apple ecosystem).

Regarding the keyboard app, I just switched to Gboard as a matter of personal preference and it does the job — you can choose whatever makes you happy here, no one is forcing you to use the default keyboard.

The screenshots issue I never had a problem with, they just work on my Pixel 10 Pro build no. 2026070501 without any hiccups; same for the back gesture. I don't have many apps, just the usual ones for chat, banking and the stores to enable installing some of the stuff there.

Using multiple secondary profiles to isolate what I'm doing: banking, chatting etc. (work perfectly fine, no glitches; switching profiles is also responsive).
