Having trouble installing Gcam-Services-provider

Every time I try to install it just says "App not installed"

If I try installing through obtainium it says "Conflict [Gcam-Services-Provider]"

This could be thrown when a secondary user or Private space has an installed app conflicting with the one you're attempting. Are you sure about not having Gphotos somewhere in the system?

Fay_Wilmont yes and I can't see anything in there that would help. I don't have play services installed so I've been attempting to install the app-photosonly version but as my gcam works I figured I'd try the app-photos one too but get the same result.

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious but I'm drawing a blank here and could do with pointers.

Novaliss ah yeah, I do have photos in the private space. I thought that was separate though. I guess I'll have to move that to a separate profile.

I'm ultimately aiming to get rid of that but it has all my old photos in it. Just don't want to add more to it

It has to be removed from the phone. No user, profile, private space.

Novaliss right in uninstalled photos from my private area and I'm still getting the same error. I'll try restarting the phone just in case that makes a difference.

Yes. And use the 'Photosonly'-flavour.

Novaliss unfortunately same error message. At the end of the day it's not the end of the world if the little button in the camera app doesn't work as long as the camera itself works, which it does. Is a little frustrating though.
