Curve Pay Problems

I havent tagged this as a Graphene problem, cos it may very well be an app issue. I wondered if anyone else has the following 2 issues with this app

I noticed that if the app has network permission, it can be open and ready to pay in 3 seconds. If there is no network eg dead area or plane mode, it takes 38 seconds for the app to open and a further 31 seconds to reapond to app biometric unlock or app password. Once the app opens ot shows my cards, but an orange banner stating theres a problem and please try again. I think this is an app thing but i cant get a response from their customer services. This is more of an ongoing annoyance rather than something new
More importantly Curve has stopped working. The app opens to the cards screen, but in trying to pay the merchant sees "unsupported card" on their terminal. Its the same card i made 3 curve payments on a couple of days ago. The physical card works. Again no response from customer services. I know curve is being bought by Lloyds and the Lloyds Bank app wont work in Graphene so I wonder...

I'm on Graphene 2801.

No, everything works fine, already made 2 payments today. I tend to think Curve want's to support GrapheneOS, as long as Playservices are installed and as they know, that there are no other contactless payment solutions available for GrapheneOS for the moment, except Garmin.

Try to stop the app, clear cache and data and login again, don't forget to make Curve the standard wallet/NFC app in the settings inside of Curve. I did this for myself a lot of times during the past days, as I was "playing" with different profiles, but I found out that Curve works best in the owner profile.

Clear storage under app info to be signed out of curve.

There are some other NFC payment apps if the bank app itself lets you pay with their app. There's a few of those in the world.

Sure, but I meant apps for general contactless payments not dedicated to one bank.

I shiuld have said at the start, cleared cache, cleared srorage, signed back in, no better.

Same again then deleted and reinstalled app from Google Play Store. No better.

Installed in my owner profile.

Tried with VPN off, same behaviour. Next I will try a stock android device, but wont be for a coupel of days

I installed Curve via Aurora store, but I don't know if this makes a difference. Curve checks Play Integrity when starting, but apparently not on the highest level.

Having the same problem with curve, just migrated to Graphene, fresh install, curve was working fine on my rooted previous phone, but is not working on Graphene. Curve is set to be the contactless provider, installed from aurora too. In the main profile. I'll try reinstalling from play store, and seeing how that goes

But it was working from play store. Something happened but i cant figure what. Then again i dont have a good grasp of what goes on under the hood with Graphene. I'm more convinced it's an app issue still but IDK

Kurt999 how long ago was it working? Might be worth trying to grab a specific version of curve if they haven't EOL'd it yet from approx that date

Given the same version of the app is working for me on a rooted phone (so minimal attestation) it could be a graphene issue. I'll see how my reinstall goes next time I need to pay for something. I don't have anything to test on directly.

I used it 4 days ago to make 3 transactions. 2 Days ago it wouldnt work. I still need to try it on stock Android. Do you have the network vs no network issue that I have, ( point 1 in my OP)

Tried this already yesterday, switched to airplane mode, but the Curve app opens as quick as ever, no problem here.

Just as an update, I reinstalled from play store, activated the app again under account in the app settings, and all is working now, unsure what happened last time as this is the path I took then, but it now works for me!
