How to change the App that usually solves a specific task

Hi,
I want to know how I can change the app that is making this kind of action usually. For example I want to edit a screenshot, that's why I'm tapping on "editing" after taking a screenshot but now it opens the one gallery app however I want to use another. How can I change that?

Hello :)

Do this:

MontBlanc tapping on "editing" after taking a screenshot

Then view the recent apps ( picture: https://imgur.com/a/elrfHwU )
tap on the app name with the down arrow
tap on app info
tap on open by default
at the bottom is clear default preferences

Now you can use a different gallery app

thanks for this really quick reply. You've helped me a lot. But I didn't get the 2. and 3. Point. Are you in the main account because I want that to change in a second account. Another question, where do I find this web app you used in the shown picture?

I see you're really into grapheneOS and that's why I want to ask you another question - I hope it doesn't annoy you. Is it possible to transfer all my data from one account to e.g. my main account if possible even like to copy my one account, things like wallpaper l, settings, etc. and if yes, how?

Many websites support this. It's also called PWA.

Go to a site like this forum in vanadium. (Or another browser based on chromium, maybe safari too?)

Tap the 3 dots at the top right.
Tap on add to home screen or maybe it's called install and create shortcut
Follow the prompts to add it to your home screen.

This makes it nicer so I have 2 vanadium windows to switch between.

It doesn't actually take up space "installing" an app. It's just a browser window.

Thanks. I thought about this as well but I wasn't sure maybe there's an real app developed and I didn't find it yet. Could you help me by the last post because I can't find the things you said in you're description neither I understood the last points. Could you help me again please.

How can I change how a specific action is performed by a app e.g. editing a screenshot.

Find the app that is automatically opening up. For example, your Gallery or Image editing app.
Press and hold on the app and press i App Info
Scroll down and press Open by default
Near the bottom, below Other default preferences, press Clear default preferences.

Now you can trigger the behavior again by pressing Edit under a screenshot and it should give you the option to choose which app the screenshot opens in.

Thanks, however I can't find this button shown in the last picture in my settings. Do I need first to click on always for this app when I'm e.g. taking a screenshot and what to edit it so it will show up in my settings?

So you really just need to click on "Every time" when it asks with which app it should proceed this action and after that you can see the above named (shown in the 3. picture of persimmonpomelo) button. I always clicked "just for this time". That was the problem I couldn't find this button.
