Pixel 6a, current GrapheneOS release. After clearing the data of sandboxed Google Play services, adding my Google account fails with "There was a problem communicating with Google servers". The error is identical whether I start sign-in from the Play Store, Maps, or Settings (all use the same account UI).
Already ruled out:
Date/time set to automatic and correct
Full reinstall of Play services + Play Store via the GrapheneOS Apps store, with reboots
Fresh secondary profile with a clean sandboxed Play install → identical failure
No private DNS, no VPN, no blockers
Fails on both Wi-Fi and mobile data (Aldi Talk / o2 roaming in Portugal)
Browser login to the same account in Vanadium works fine; the account has no 2FA
Network permission is granted to Play services
Sign-in worked before the data wipe. What should I capture via logcat during a sign-in attempt to narrow this down?
