Aurora can't upgrade Android Auto to v17

GrapheneOS informs that Android Auto must be upgraded to new version or will soon not work.
So I start the update with Aurora Store to get the install window for Android Auto v17.0.662234-release (170662234)
After starting the install the message windows says:
Android Auto
Installer failed
INSTALL_FAILED_SESSION_INVALID:
Only the first-party package source and shell are allowed to install
com.google.android.projection.gearhead

I tried google play but its says another app installed Android Auto and that makes sense since v16 was installed with the Aurora Store.
Should I ignore the notification to upgrade Android Auto to v17 or is there a way to upgrade?

As has been stated many times in this forum, you need to patiently wait for Android Auto to be upgraded in the GOS App Store. Ignore the Google scare yearning about needing to upgrade or else.

Android Auto must be installed from Graphene built in App Store

Manzikert You may change its release channel to Alpha to get it a bit sooner.
