DebMc Hi, when my phone rings there is no notification on the screen for me to answer, I have to unlock and pull down from the top screen to see and somtime's it's not even there, y then I've missed the call and have to go to the log to return the call. It's happened before and I managed to sort it but somehow can't find it this time. Amy support welcomed thank you
de0u DebMc Is it possible that some permissions were removed from the Phone app? For example, does Settings, Apps, Special app access show that Phone has "Display over other apps" and "Full-screen notifications"?
DebMc de0u thank you, the allow screen notification is on but the all notification is greyed out. Sometimes I can have a call and it dosent thing also. I've just switched on allow full screen notifications but not store that will make a difference
de0u DebMc Please note that it is not recommended to remove any permission from any built-in app -- it is very likely to make trouble, and not likely to improve anything.
de0u DebMc On a fresh install of GrapheneOS the Phone app has "Display over other apps" and "Full-screen notifications". If either one is missing then most likely a person removed it.
DebMc All screen notifications is greyed out! Is that the one? If yes is there a way to get it back on? Thank you for your support
de0u DebMc All screen notifications is greyed out! Is that the one? If yes is there a way to get it back on? Settings Apps Special app access Full-screen notifications Tapping "Phone" should reveal a toggle, which should be enabled.
Johnnyloans de0u Settings Apps Special app access Full-screen notifications Tapping "Phone" should reveal a toggle, which should be enabled. DebMc I would turn this off, wait a second, turn it on. Sometimes what computers show you and what's actually set behind the scenes can mismatch due to error not to be malicious.
