Not sure of which auto update caused this, but likely something within the last 4 days.
- P7P Google Cam started randomly taking landscape photos, while being oriented vertically. Taking 3-4 photos in a row results in maybe one with correct orientation, others are rotated.
- Video preview and actual have a severe fish lens effect. This is reproducible in both Ggam and Simple cam from GOS.
After trying to isolate issue, the option in Simple cam of turning off IES solved it. Going back to Gcam completely turning off Video stabilization fixed it.
- Panorama mode broken, cant take initial photo, Phone not straight message.
Photo sphere shows phone icon dancing on top as if the sensor input is completely wack, cant take initial pick, cant proceed to next dot.
Can confirm full usage of all these functions prior to recent couple of days without issue. Only issue was the ubiquitous sepolicy lacking of hardware access for portrait mode, with the 40sec+ processing times per picture, which I kinda learned to live with, seeing it wasn't going to be addressed.
What is the proper procedure to roll back these updates and turn off automatic updating in the future?
Gcam 8.7.250 installed from Aurora last updated 12/17/22, and is the latest version shown.
No updates of any kind or anything done during this period.
It just happened and noticed the issue only today as wasn't using camera since the weekend.
