I was referred to this thread by fid03 from My password, which I’ve been using for over eight months, is no longer accepted as it happened to me back in July 5th on my Pixel 6A.
Idk what version it was on before this happened but it was once on the 2026062200 release via the Alpha channel release in response to Google breaking RCS on Graphene OS back on June 23, 2026. Then I switched back to stable channel, which updated itself to something newer than 2026062200. Now I recently side-loaded an OTA update to 2026070500 via recovery/adb in hopes it'll fix this bug but to no avail. Now its at 90 minutes delay.
I'll give one more OTA release before doing a wipe but in the meantime, my backup iPhone will serve me for the time being.
