GrapheneOS GrapheneOS version 2026062100 released: https://grapheneos.org/releases#2026062100 See the linked release notes for a summary of the improvements over the previous release.
xxx GrapheneOS Fine on P9 & P6. Regarding the new wifi quick setting: it's great to have both wifi & mobile data. Overall a lot smother than the previous build. Sideloading went well.
AcclaimSublevel19 GrapheneOS Sandboxed Google Play compatibility layer: avoid opening extra file descriptions Any chance you mean descriptors here?
pizzadequeso "add Pixel Comfort View settings for supported devices (Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, Pixel 10 Pro Fold)" Can you also add airdrop support for compatible pixel devices? It's available on stock from pixel 8a to 10a
wizoatk pizzadequeso Can you also add airdrop support You've already asked in multiple threads. There's an existing os-issue for tracking this. My understanding is that It's unlikely to happen unless Google adds it to AOSP. https://github.com/GrapheneOS/os-issue-tracker/issues/6550
Sindbad wizoatk it will never be added to AOSP and instead requires a sandboxed compatibility layer for Quick Share Extension. Really hope GOS team can add it in a future release.
keycap_puller This is a bit off-topic. Have you noticed any signs that Android 17 is related to the Aluminium OS for laptops? Also, can you predict whether the new laptops will be suitable for GOS?
thure Thank you to the whole GrapheneOS team for the hard work behind this weekend's Android 17 update. Your dedication to privacy and security doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you for everything you do.
pizzadequeso Sindbad Is Quick Share Extension already a part of google play services? or can we install it manually?
Billy This released seems did not available over the air yet from my Pixel 10 Pro Xl? I got lost guys!
GrapheneOS Billy It's available for over-the-air updates via the hidden experimental channel. We've provided information on how to use it in our testing channels across Discord, Matrix and Telegram. The next release will quickly go to Alpha but there's 1 more serious issue which needs to be fixed: wireless Android Auto was broken for a large subset of users, so we didn't move it to Alpha yet. It's resolved in our development branch already.
Billy GrapheneOS Thanks for helpful informations! I on my way almost finished the download of the Experimental Released based on Android 17 on my device. When I have a hard time scrolls through comments on Matrix threads, and finally found the simple method provided by yours. Big Thanks again.
Beerman Eirikr70 The next release will quickly go to Alpha but there's 1 more serious issue which needs to be fixed: wireless Android Auto was broken for a large subset of users, so we didn't move it to Alpha yet. 2 posts up... :)
de0u Carrousel7956 If it doesn't come to Alpha today I'm gonna turn on experimental. If it isn't released to Alpha today then most likely some actual problem will be standing in the way. It's not possible to downgrade without wiping all user data on the device. So we are all grateful to the intrepid testers willing to run those risks.
