I'm so happy about the 2 buttons. But it is a little strange that the chip stays on.

MSR somewhat faster on P9.

My P6 fells unresponsive from time to time (like with A16).
It started with A16? that the touchscreen sometimes becomes unresponsive. I have this on both phones but only very rarely on the 9.

disable 2G is part of the problem. But *#62# used to work with 2G protection.

Android 17 added a unified PIN interface to SystemUI for use outside of the lockscreen. Our PIN scrambling feature now works beyond the lockscreen too. We increase the DevicePolicyManager PIN and password length to 128 but Android's new PIN entry had it hard-wired to 16 which we've resolved now.

We add a feature making system quick tiles require unlocking by default and exclude tiles where it isn't needed which accidentally caused the new flashlight quick tile to require unlocking which is now fixed. Those are the main issues found so far other than minor UI quirks we're working on fixing.

I can confirm. This is probably a security/privacy regression, as Wifi scanning appears to remain available after disabling Wifi in the quick tile, even when airplane mode is on too.

Or click on the Wifi quick tile, not on the on/off button, but to open the menu to select Wifi network, and disable there. It seems to work too. It is just the quick on/off button that appears not to fully disable Wifi. I guess the GrapheneOS developers will fix this before stable release. Probably just a very tiny bug fix needed.

Where did you obtain the error you're showing? It doesn't look like a problem. If you're just looking through the log viewer for errors and warnings, there are expected to be various standard errors and warnings by default due to functionality that's not present or supported. Most of those default errors and warnings would also be there with the stock Pixel OS and nearly all are there with AOSP.

ryrona Probably just a very tiny bug fix needed.

The longer I used A17 now I think it's fine.
You can press the button longer and then the settings app opens.

ryrona We've changed it to disabling Wi-Fi instead of pausing it for tomorrow's release that's currently building.

mio I only update by adb sideload. I really need a 16qpr2 version that could update by adb sideload

You may scrap the idea I proposed of making a backup and factory reset; several forum members said the devs are working on it, so it is not required to factory reset after all!
