Trouble loading webpages recently?

Within the last week or two, webpages have been extremely slow or fail to load in browsers. Often, I'll be able to get one tab to load slowly in IronFox, then any subsequent page navigations on any tab will hang a while before returning "Address Not Found." The only solution is to force-quit IronFox and relaunch it, but again it often only works for one or two page navigations before failing again.

Obviously there's a lot of factors that could affect this.

IronFox v151.0.3 - most noticeable on IronFox because that's my main browser
Windscribe v4.0 - changing servers doesn't matter, and other apps' connectivity isn't affected, so I don't think it's the network
Private DNS - set to Automatic, tried changing to Off but made no difference
Verizon 5G & Wifi - tried using only mobile data or only wifi, made no difference
GOS build 2026060100
Pixel 8 Pro

As I continue to troubleshoot this, I wanted to ask here if anyone has had a similar experience recently, either with IronFox specifically or GrapheneOS in general?

I have always had an issue with ironfoz, fennec, and similar being real slow on mobile. Gecko browsers work perfectly on any PC though. Sad

Having this problem on Ironfox lately, too. The problem does not happen with Vanadium. I even tried deleting the Ironfox storage, did not remedy the problem. I have uninstalled it until the problem is reported fixed.

I was having the same issue around the time this thread was made. Like the others were saying, Vanadium works fine but IronFox failed to load certian websites and overall was pretty slow. For me this was for news, manga, or social media sites. Ever since I updated it through Accrescent recently it seemed to work better. I'm currently on version 152.0.5. I also went into my IronFox settings and enabled JavaScript Just-in-time compilation (JIT). Don't know how much help that is, but hope it's something for someone.

I've been experiencing the same thing and it has been around the same amount of time. Also using IronFox.

However I also use my phone as my primary internet connection at home via hotspot to my laptop and that has been experiencing intermittent DNS lookup failures. Not limited to the browser as it will literally fail to resolve via any querying in command prompt but at the same time still is able to reach external IP addresses directly.

I assumed a recent android or gos update caused it and that it's not IronFox, just that it happens to be bringing the DNS issues to light. Perhaps Chromium/Vanadium is using a different mechanism to resolve addresses that still works.
