Alternatives to Obtanium

When I checked the Obtanium web site, a pop-up stated that the developer is unwilling to provide the personal info to G👀gle for official developer status, and so the app is likely to go away. Now, on trying to find that announcement I can't seem to.

But it does raise the question: if not Obtanium, then what? Are there any comparable alternatives that one might swap to?

The lead project maintainer of Obtainium says this:

Obtainium will continue to work on non-certified devices.

So Obtainium will continue to work fine on GrapheneOS.

Its the stock android people who will effectively lose access to Obtainium.
It will likely lead to a reduction in this app's community-based resources (crowd-sourced configs for "hard to add" apps, etc).
But Obtainium will likely stick around despite this.

Even so, alternatives in include:
Gplay
Aurora
F-droid
Accrescent
Or my favorite, install website as PWA via browser instead of using the app

Jolly good! That means I don't need to find new sources for the apps I get from Ob. That's a relief.

No one has mentioned Zapstore. These guys include FOSS plus Nostr apps.

Carrousel7956 Nostr is gaining more exposure because of its decentralized ecosystem, and antithesis of Govt censorship and entities like Google. Not so much Apple because users still have to login via Apple ID.
