de0u at the moment i could solve it somehow..
i don't know why it was like that..

i rebooted everything but earlier could not use it.. not even to reach the car settings because the message will appear endlessly.

i remember having a similar problem with another car few months ago..

i didn't changed anything except for the updated google play..........

i'm still curious if this board offers gos support exclusively.. or maybe there are other places to get support?

I wrote about problems I had here.

You will need to submit some detailed logs when is DC/RC and trace what is happening as I did in that thread. I didn't get a solution however the debug logs are useful to build a picture as to what is going on.

GrapheneOS offers detailed developer logs both from the system and app level. We'll need those to assist you further if the error contiunes.

the problem persists very badly and i hope i will find solution.
one of my concerns is that because many of the audio music files i listen to are with hebrew characters there is a problem.. but maybe i'm wrong and it is something else..

is say try relocating your geographical coordinates and see if theres a change, i cant get reliable connectivity in my apartment; my neighbor has like 5 wifi routers...me..none. it could be your location?

Do you use Android Auto with a wired or a wireless connection?
My car only has wired connection and at first the same (disconnects and re-connects) thing happened to me. The solution was another USB cable. That simple!

They are saying get logs after you have android auto disconnect and reconnecting.

settings > apps > see all apps > android auto > view logs

so i've tried and tried.. it eventually got connected again only after i connected it with the cable to the car.... only then android auto worked..

do i need wifi on maybe, for allowing it to work wirelessly? if yes, i didin't know that earlier.. i thought it is via BT..

anyway.. when i was in the car i've only connected it with a cable to see that it is finally working..
i do prefer it wireless so let me know if i need the wifi on all the time for that..

it now works with wifi on..

ok. so the BT and WIFI are both on and everything worked fine for a few drives. only until i entered and got a blinking welcome screen in the car screen.. only when i restarted my phone it stopped being stuck and blinking..

the last audio file i played in the car has hebrew tags.. perhaps this can cause this bug?

updating..
got even worse the next drives.
it didin't connected even after restarting the phone.
not with the cable under data mode too..
every few moments i got a message in the car that it can't connect..
i don't know what to do

Try to install Android Auto in the main user without granting it any permissions, then test Android Auto again in a secondary user or profile.
