Hi everyone,
recently switched from a Pixel 6 Pro to a Pixel 10 Pro XL (both GrapheneOS), so I had to re-setup my cars.
I have one car that has a stereo with bluetooth for handsfree and audio. Beside that I have one of those 8" cheap Android Auto gadgets, you know, those that attach to your windscreen with a suction cup.
With the Pixel 6, I had calls and audio via bluetooth connected to the stereo, while Android Auto was connected wirelessly to said gadget.
I have tried to set it up the same way, but the gadget would always "capture and hold" bluetooth for both audio and handsfree. I can now control playback from my stereo, but it would play on the gadget. Great. Not. 🙄
I THOUGHT I simply had turned off handsfree and audio for the gadget in the bluetooth connections on my phone, but when I do that, Android Auto simply does no longer work. So this isn't a solution.
As I now have no clue where to look, I thought it would be a good idea to first come here and clarify whether this is GrapheneOS related or not.
Even better if you had a solution or at least could point me towards one. Yes, I know that there are apps like "Bluetooth Priority", but I had it working the way I desired before without such an app, so I still have hope to manage to get it working without one this time.
Thanks
Cheers,
Bebef
