If the existing process works, adding code could be done, and the issue wasn't closed as "not planned", but it might legitimately not be a high-priority item for the maintainers given other issues.
undertree what happen? is Graphene have search engine deal with 5 default search engine already in the setting or what?
Just in case it can help set expectations appropriately: the fact that three weeks pass between an issue being filed and a GrapheneOS developer writing code absolutely does not mean that there is a financial conspiracy against implementing the user-requested feature. Such a suggestion could be seen as offensive.
