Pixel 6 running SQ3A.220705.003.A1 and on Vodafone UK.
VoWiFi with a physical SIM worked fine, albeit after some delay and repeatedly checking for the option to enable this to appear. However, AFAICT I didn't actually do anything to provision the carrier settings.
Switched the number across to the eSIM and about a week later and I still don't have the toggle for Wi-Fi Calling. I've been on to Vodafone support and they say they have now sent the settings multiple times (via "system notification" messages?), but to no avail. I've also made sure that I had privileged eSIM management enabled at the time, just in case this was needed (it would be good to know if settings are provisioned to the existing eSIM or outside this).
Going into the test menu I can see VoLTE is provisioned OK. It all feels a bit vague and mysterious — carrier config and privs do in general! How can I best debug this? I bought a SIM on contract specifically for testing, before switching my main number across. I need VoWiFi because I live somewhere rural and the 3G femto service is about to be turned off. Also really need the PLMN to be on eSIM, so that it frees up the physical slot for private LTE network use.
