Trash/Bin and Deletion of Files

I am wondering whether there is an option to view deleted files in the Trash/Bin and where to find this or whether when deleting files they are gone off of the device completely and not backed up.

I can't find a bin or the files once I have deleted them nor can I find a files type system to go through the phone and search for the files and where they could be stored.

Does a trash/bin exist or are files deleted permanently once they are deleted?

olivegarden built-in Files and Gallery delete files permanently. Otherwise they would show up when you choose to display hidden files under tree dots. Usually with a dot in at the beginning of filename and "trashed" appendix in the same folder where they were deleted. There are apps that support bin but not built-in apps as far as I am aware.
