Does it slow down over the years (compared to iPhones)

Hi, wondering if Pixels in general slow down over the years with GOS installed compared to iPhones? I understand that GOS provide updates for up to 5 years. For me, Pixel 6a is less than half the price of iPhone 11 so the value proposition looks great. Thanks.

eyeFone at some point was slowing down as aging for some reason related to the BATTERY health.

Aside from stupid things like that, nothing will actually slow down as it ages.

Now, you could actually have the appearance of slowing down as a result of system or software updates that require more processing. The reality in this is that the phone isn't actually slowing down, its just doing more.
