GrapheneOS I just experienced a kernel crash (kernel panic) on my P9Pxl while watching a video on VLC, not sure it has anything to do with the update though, but I do have the logs. It is temporarily (for 24 hours) available here:

GrapheneOS Hello I have a question. I noticed my phone has rebooted after an update, even though I have explicitly disable automatic reboot.

Can some specific updates (like this one) which fix bugs and vulnerabilities force the phone to reboot despite the option "automatic reboot" disabled ?

GrapheneOS As I have already posted in https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/35444-no-t-mobile-carrier-signal-after-upgrade-to-2026050901, this update seems to have make my phone lose the ability to connect to the T-Mobile network after the reboot.

Please let me know what I can do to upload logs or anything to see why my phone didn't like this update.

2026050901 is working well (including WiFi) on my P6a, P7, Pixel Tablet and P9Pxl thus far. (No Play Services installed) Thank you!

abdullah indeed. Clash Royal is just inusable. Disabled Private dns, tried Mobile vs WiFi, reinstalled, rebooted... Nothing fixes it. Github issue rejected as not Os related.

Hi, just replying because I have this issue as well. I already tried resetting wifi and bluetooth via the reset settings menu but nothing changes.

I'm also on a Pixel 9a with the latest 2026050901 update. I'm connecting to my Wifi 7 home network which yesterday had no problems, but today, after the update and susbsequent reboot, gives connection errors and doesn't let me connect to it.

Connecting to another phone's hotspot works, which leads me to believe that it may be related to other recent bugs regarding wifi drivers...

I'm available to give more details if needed, but I also may need guidance, I'm new to the forums as well.

warning: it'll forget all of the saved passwords for WiFis and the bluetooth devices you have saved -- you'll have to reconnect.

Settings > system > reset > reset Wifi & Bluetooth

When did you install GrapheneOS on this Pixel 9a phone?
Did the Wifi issues happen immediately after rebooting from the update?
Have you had WiFi issues before on your home WiFi.

Say the issue happened after rebooting to 2026050901 on your pixel 9a and forum user Tumbixi seems to have the same issue on the same Pixel 9a and you're willing to submit logs

add any other info you like.

Johnnyloans Hello ! Thank you for the reply. Here's what I tried to "solve" the issue :

Rebooting one more time after the update
Using the "check connectivity" button at the top right of the screen in the wifi menu
Reactivating 2.4GHz on my modem
Resetting wifi and bluetooth like you mentioned

(I am also able like Tumbixi to connect to another phone's hotspot)

I installed Graphene on April 27th 2026, brand new phone bought 2 days before

The issue happened immediately after the update yes

Didn't have issues like that before no, what I did have was the DNS check telling me my private DNS (selfhosted) was unreachable even tho it was and I had internet connectivity (it didn't impact functionality, just sent me notifications when it didn't need to)

Sorry if my translations of the menus isn't quite what is shown on an english device, I have mine in another language

Hi, I have a question that will allow me to better understand the release notes.

According to the release notes, both 2026050701 and 2026050901 includes:

All of the Android 16 security patches from the current June 2026, July 2026, August 2026, September 2026, October 2026 and November 2026 Android Security Bulletins

However, the "List of additional fixed CVEs" differs between them.

Does this mean that the "List of additional fixed CVEs" also contains some other fixes, not only these resulting from the mentioned security preview bulletins?

iirc the aforementioned Android Security Bulletins are not yet finalized (meaning some additional CVEs can/may still be added/pushed to the current or proceeding months).

__Blank__ It might be that you had a kernel panic that caused the reboot. That happened to me from the update prior to this most recent one. Possible that the new one had downloaded, was waiting for a reboot, and then the kernel crashed.

Aside from System Updater, reboots can happen if the system crashes, or if the automatic reboot timer fires.
