MEETS_DEVICE_INTEGRITY not passing in second profile | Pixel 10pro

Hello developers and community,

Running grapheneos since Pixel 6pro smoothly. Now I upgraded to the 10pro. Followed the install instructions. Everything went fine. Created a second profile on which I installed Google play. I signed into my Google account. But it fails to pass MEETS_DEVICE_INTEGRITY via the Play Integrity API. Only MEETS_BASIC_INTEGRITY is achieved. This was previously working on my Pixel 6 Pro running GrapheneOS with the same setup (Sandboxed Google Play in secondary profile, no Google Play in main profile).
Because of that WhatsApp doesn't let me sign in. It shows „Download the official WhatsApp app" error, blocks login entirely.

How can I achieve meets_device_integrity?

I also noticed that my GPS is extremely slow to find me on Gmaps or other GPS needed apps like Bolt, Uber, Sixt. Is it connected to the issue?

Setup:

Android 16
Build number 2026042101
Main profile: No Sandboxed Google Play installed
Secondary profile: Sandboxed Google Play (Play Store + Play Services) installed
Google account logged in to Play Store in secondary profile
DCL via Memory: enabled for both Play Services and Play Store
DCL via Storage: enabled for both Play Services and Play Store
All permissions granted to Play Services including precise location

GrapheneOS

Jaylumen MEETS_DEVICE_INTEGRITY means a Google certified device running the stock OS and hasn't ever been supported with GrapheneOS since it isn't Google certified. WhatsApp doesn't require it.

It has nothing to do with it. You're likely expecting satellite-based location to work quickly indoors which can't be expected. You're likely comparing using only GNSS with A-GNSS to using network-based location alongside GNSS. Enable network-based location and Wi-Fi scanning in Settings > Location > Location services if you want it. You're used to using it and don't have it enabled.

As GOS said, GOS never passed this ever.
GOS would have to be on google's list of favorite OSes to do so.

What was probably working just fine on the old phone was an old app version, then facebook changed the code for logging in and blocked users, now you're trying to log in with a new version.

You were already logged in on your old phone, so you never ran into the logging in issue.

Make sure to utilize these:
Settings > location

SUPL
PSDS

Settings > location > location services > network location
I have wifi scanning off, you can turn it on to utilize network location while you have wifi off.
Also, enable geocoder in here if it isn't.

Is [GPS] connected to the [Whatsapp] issue?
