GrapheneOS GrapheneOS version 2026050700 released: https://grapheneos.org/releases#2026050700 See the linked release notes for a summary of the improvements over the previous release.
xxx GrapheneOS All fine P9! The wifi 'bug' https://discuss.grapheneos.org/d/35327-grapheneos-version-2026050600-released/27 is gone too.
inthewaves atosser Try rebooting into safe mode to see if it helps (hold power button for power menu before first unlock, or hold volume key during boot logo)
abednego atosser May your crash be related to one of these changes intended for the next GrapheneOS release? backport Broadcom Wi-Fi bcm4383 driver changes from CP21.260330.008 (Android 17 Beta 4) to avoid invalid memory accesses caught by the kernel hardware memory tagging enabled by GrapheneOS (the May 2026 Wi-Fi firmware + kernel driver update introduced this issue for the Pixel 8a and Pixel 9a) disable buggy upstream IStatusBarNotificationHolder optimization via the upstream feature flag (no_sbnholder) due to it causing occasional system_server crashes from sending overly large Binder transactions.
slb atosser second this and adding that it's only if it connects to 160MHz networks. If I connect to lower bandwidth networks or disable WiFi it is fine.
razorsedge Pixel 8a crashes with multiple kernel crashes immediately on boot. Safe mode works. Able to get to log before reboot... said flag: dev options were enabled. Turned them off and lasted for a minute longer before it crashed again.
Developer-Dude This update is still Alpha for the 9a only because of the bug that causes crashes right?
wizoatk Developer-Dude Wi-Fi related crashes are still an outstanding issue for both 8A and 9A. Yes, I believe that's the only blocker for new release. 2026050704 is the latest test image, might help/fix.
malatoi Works fine on my Pixel 6 without any Google stuff. Thanks! P.S.: Hope my Pixel 6 gets extended support after EoL in october 2026 ;)
Za3ma jeeringsequel confirmed on P8. Game cache deletion heaped a lot. Still, display is lagging vs before update
Seppetoni Until now no problems on p9pxl. Battery life still not as good as iphone 13 pro max. Don't know why.
SirMixAlot My P10P had rebooted when I woke up this morning. Not enough time had passed for autoreboot. When I unlocked it I got a message saying my kernel had crashed I was on 2026050701 at the time. I have updated to 2026050901.
graphuser Anty SirMixAlot There was some discussion on Discord with 3 users reporting kernel crash when updating to 20260509 (so on 20260507) and having to resume update (truncated file causing system updater to reject the update) after the reboot. All were pixel 10 family. Hopefully fixed in 20260509.
