Migrating from Pixel 7 to Pixel 10 on GrapheneOS - best practices?

Hello everyone,

My Pixel 7 under GOS is reaching end of life, and I'm planning to migrate to a brand new Pixel 10, who will soon running GrapheneOS.

Has anyone gone through a similar transition recently? I'm particularly curious about how you handled the data transfer while keeping the security model intact, since I'd rather not route everything through a Google backup.

Any tips on what tools or workflows worked well for you? Is there any simple way to the transfer?

For more context, I have a few profiles, some without Google play services and some with these.

IksNorTen end of life ? You will receive the next 2 major Android upgrades and security updates at least until October 2027. You can keep your device and wait for the Motorola grapheneOS. The MTE from the pixel 8 lineup is like the only real difference and the rest is just a waste of money.

Seedvault backup to a USB memory stick and restore on your new phone. This should get most of your apps.

Photos and other files and be copied from your 7 to the 10 via USB stick. Personally, I'd copy everything I could to my computer and move it to the 10 as required.
