Bootloader locked with GrapheneOS AVB key, cannot unlock or flash stock

I had GrapheneOS installed on my Pixel 7a and wanted to switch back to stock Android. I didn't realize I needed to remove the custom AVB key before flashing, and I also didn't re-enable OEM unlocking in Developer Options beforehand. I no longer have a working OS on the device.

If OEM unlock is off, it shouldn't be possible to flash at all.

What exactly does the system display when it tries to boot? Does it say that the bootloader is "unlocked", "unlockable", etc

This doesn't work, it gets stuck at around 30%, I tried different cables, different computers, different browsers. From what I pieced together the problem is that i didnt remove the graphene key before I tried to do that

SanshuDum I am not aware of reports that a Pixel will refuse to boot a Google-signed OS just because a third-party signing key is present. And I don't think that would result in a flashing failure.

What exactly happens? Is there an error message? If not, honestly the standard OS/driver/browser/port/cable problems are more likely. Is a really good cable being used? Trying multiple not-so-great cables may not help.
