Please help: Mydacia app is not working

Hi, I installed mydacia app from Aurora store.but this is not working. It says network error occurred during start. Even on my googled profile with play store activated (active network and logged into my Google account) I get the same message. Did you experience such a behavior as well (maybe with other apps) and how did you solve that? The app is really crucial to me since it gives me a status about my ecar. Thanks for your help in advance.

@androidin Unfortunately, upon reading other user reviews on Aurora it looks like you are not the only person that is plagued by login/connectivity issues (+lack of features and outdated design). Some users fixed their problem by reverting to previous versions by side loading apk from different sources, which of course is not recommended but restores functionality. It is really developers call and in their own interest to make the app compatible for daily use, so that the company who contracts them keeps their customers happy.

Should you decide to revert, I wouldn't use it in device with GOS on it as this would work against desired security, use it instead on another device of yours where it is confirmed to work.

What a pity. I thought I get problems with my banking apps but those have no problems at all. I am wondering which access it is which they need and what prevent the app from starting... At least netguard shows me two accesses to googleapis:
firebaseinappmessaging.googleapis.com
firebaseinstallations.googleapis.com
But although if I deactivate netguard the app don't starts and tells me that it finds no network...

androidin All I can suggest is use a device that you already own so you don't accrue any further costs with full blown Google for this app's specific purpose.

androidin The other one would remain in the car of course. Why is it and I have to say it again, that people have to attempt to try to squeeze their whole lives on one device and expect that it would all work flawlessly under tighter security regime?

Have you tried enable native code debugging in settings - security?

user yes the option is set. If it's not set, it's the same behavior...

Hello fellow romanian!
Long story short: You can make it work by enabling "Exploit protection compatibility mode" for that Dacia app.

Long story:
I have installed it from gplay, for testing on work profile. ( on a Pixel 6 pro )
The install went smooth.
Allowed to send notifications.
Then it's remaining in loading stage. ( the two balls rotating ).
The only way of making that app to work, is by going in App info ( long press the icon ) and scroll down, enabling "Exploit protection compatibility mode"

Doing the same on a Samsung Galaxy S9+ , the install and the start went without troubles.
