You Have Mail Captcha No Load login fail

Hello,
I'm setting up a user without sandboxed GPS installed and use proton mail for my emails. I'm trying to get push notis to work and have downloaded You Have Mail but after trying to log into my proton account via you have mail I'm getting an error where the captcha white pages and doesn't load (this is on my 2nd user). I'm trying the same on my owner profile and its not getting as far as the captcha white screen. upon entering my details and attempting login I'm met with a prompt "failed to log into proton: Human verification required".

I've downloaded you have mail v0.23.3 from fdroid (also tried v0.22.0 same issue occurs).
Using vanadium as my default browser and it loads captchas within the browser itself fine but I cannot recall doing one outside of vanadium to verify like in this instance you have mail app is prompting it.

Just want to say that I have the same issue. It started just the other day. Has been working flawlessly before.

Perhaps Proton changed some captcha routines?

The "You have mail" app appears to not be maintained any more since the github repository is archived. Is there any chance that this issue might be fixed?

I'm on a Pixel 9a by the way if it should matter.

This is depressing. With such a robust infrastructure Proton should have developed their own notification backend ages ago. This tells a lot where their loyalties lie.

Just wanted to shout that it seems to be working again. I don't know if the app was updated or if Proton changed something on their end, but either way I'm happy again :)
