I can not push WhatsApp to private profile. Help please

I have installed WhatsApp on main profile. Disabled it in order to push it to the private space. But the app does not appear on the list of the available apps to install.

Why?

If you disable it .. the icon disappears from the app screen and I bet this is the thing here too. There is no need to disable it .. just turn off the permisisons in your owner profile if you want to use it only in your private space.

Thank you to both. I am still unable to install it. The problem is that I installed WhatsApp in the private apace and then deleted it. Now the system does not allow to reinstall it. It happened with another app too. This is the "bug".

Do you know how to fix it?

Pretty sure that your issue is cause your app is disabled. I have personally deleted an app from Private Space and reinstalled it back just fine. I would do the following .. install the app in your owners profile and make sure it works (you will have to reenable it). Then add it to the Private Space using the usual method. Then I would remove all permissions from the app in the owner profile and use the Private Space version. That should do it. I personally do not use any META apps anymore as I got zucked and they are a no go for me. I agree with Johnnyloans above .. you will need to have it run in the owners profile before you can install it over.

@Dboy Did you check to see if your app is disabled or exists at all under: Settings > apps > see all apps > very top pick private ?

Something else you can try: Delete private space entirely and start again. Backup anything you have there.
Settings > security > private space > very bottom is delete PS

Johnnyloans the app is disabled on owner profile. I have always done it that way. I have tried to push it being enabled but the app is still invisible in the available app list.

Yes... I can start again but it is a mess!

I have another issue: yahoo mail does not work. It works only if DCL via memory is enabled despite I downloaded it from Play Store and using Google Play services.

Any suggestion?

Dboy .. let us know how you do going forward. I did a test .. I installed 2 apps into my private space. One was just fine .. a normal app. The other .. I disabled it in my owners profile (the icon disappeared from the screen but I could still add it) and I still could install it in the private space. But it crashed .. something about being untrusted and a memory problem. So who knows. I re-enabled it and it worked fine in the owners profile but it still crashed in the private space. The other app still worked fine. Maybe later I will try a different app when I have a bit of time.

yahoo mail does not work. It works only if DCL via memory is enabled

Some apps need some of those settings changed. Decide if you want to run yahoo mail like that or not, I personally would.

Unless you decide another mail app is a good plan.

Johnnyloans I have isolated yahoo mail a private space with DCL activated. Works fine.

Regarding WhatsApp: the same in a secondary profile. Works fine.
