I downloaded Graphene OS for my Pixel 9 from my Ubuntu laptop using the CLI method with no issues. I'm using a physical SIM card that I transferred from my old iPhone, and I'm able to call, text, and browse the internet with no issues. However, when I download Google Services and try to use the Google Play store, it fails to recognize my SIM card and won't let me finish setting up an account to install the apps I need. I've tried turning wifi on and off, rebooting my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling the Google Play services and store several times, and even temporarily giving it maximum permissions. (I really didn't want to do that, but I felt completely at a loss). Nothing has worked, and I continue to get the same "SIM card not found" error no matter what I do.
I've been troubleshooting for hours and it's making my day-to-day life more difficult since I need certain apps for my job. I'm guessing it either has to be an issue with my SIM card (although it's having no other issues) or Graphene Os is still blocking Google Play from having access to my SIM card. Has anyone else had this issue?
If anyone here is able to help me, I would greatly appreciate it!
