Play Store no internet

My play store won't connect to the internet.
What I tried so far -
Network is allowed.
VPN on or off makes no difference.
Clearing storage and cache makes no difference.
Uninstalled and reinstalled makes no difference.
Pixel 9 on build 2026042101

If anybody has any ideas or thoughts, thankyou in advance.

Try this?
Settings > network > vpn > gear icon > block all connections without vpn
Turn this off

Turn off the vpn.
Verify there is no key at the top right of your screen, try the play store again.

Johnnyloans thanks for the suggestion.
I did exactly what you suggested and still no connection unfortunately.
Even disabled the VPN just to be sure and still no internet for the play store.

I uninstalled google play services alongside google play store and reinstalled them both.
Google play store is now connected as expected.
I suspect I fiddled with some settings that got reset once reinstalled.

Qb66gf I suspect removing the Network permission could have interfered.
