tasker on grapheneos and user profiles

Still new person to GOS ... I have 2 profiles - owner and main
in owner i have all of installer apps and all of the apps i want to install on the phone - I disable them - and then use user manager to install them into the 2nd profile

Now I have done this with tasker and left it in the owner profile - i believe it has more access to stuff - but it can't see things in the 2nd profile . do i need to run to taskers or do i need to run tasker in all of the active profiles.

things I want to do

for certain apps I want the display to stay on longer - when i am reading a book I don't want to have to keep touching the screen
when i near certain cell towers i want my wifi on
when certain apps are runing I want locations turned on - don't always want them on

or can i just run it in my main / 2nd profile where I do most of my stuff

This is correct and the intended behaviour; if you need tasker to see things from the second profile, you need to install it and run it from the second profile.

This is not the first time I read of someone installing app in the owner user to use them in a secondary user, but I still fail to understand what benefit one could have.
Can you help me understand the reasons behind this choice?

I'm new I just install all apps into owner - typically disable and then install into 2nd profile
But I had read that owner profile has some more access than normal so i thought tasker might need to be there.

Like turning wifi on off and gps etc

for location i typically turn it off except when i open certain apps

it is generally advised to not bother with different profiles except you're really need them, especially for newcomers.
what are you trying to achieve with your current profile configuration?
