Can I use Web Installer behind proxied environment?

So I have "Ungoogled Chromium" which uses SOCKS proxy to connect to the internet - direct connection not possible.

I can open above website with it and I was wondering can the Web Installer operate normally in this environment?

You might have to do this as the website you linked states:
sudo systemctl stop fwupd.service

I did not have to do that. Chromium should work with the proxy.

Many Pixel phones require being connected to the internet while on the google StockOS to be able to toggle 'OEM unlocking'. This toggle can be greyed out for a number of reasons.

Other than that, you could never connect the phone to the internet if you wanted to.

Also does the Android need to connect to the internet/wifi while installation process? Or will the browser handle everything?
