Feature Suggestion: Dual-network firewall with independent interface controls

The current implementation blocks/allows internet access globally per app (applying to both Wi-Fi and mobile data simultaneously). Proposal: extend this to granular, per-interface permission management:

Wi-Fi only
Mobile data only
Both (current default)
None
Use case: Restrict bandwidth-heavy apps to Wi-Fi only (data saving), or confine sensitive applications to trusted home networks while blocking them on mobile data.

I cannot help with this issue, of course, but I just wanted to let steam off and say that:

GrapheneOS_user_777 Restrict bandwidth-heavy apps to Wi-Fi only (data saving)

Respectful developers already included this possibility in their apps.
Some apps (like GOS store) even have a further option for roaming.
If developers were thinking a little bit more at the users' needs, the OS shouldn't need a newer feature to serve the same.

By the way, you could also use NetGuard, which also does what you ask for.
