Security Feature Suggestion: Fingerprint Security Lock

Scheduled Lock – Set recurring time windows when fingerprint unlock is automatically disabled (e.g., 10 PM – 5 AM), forcing PIN or password entry instead. Handy for preventing unauthorized unlocks while you sleep or if someone tries to force your hand—literally.

One-Time Lock – Instantly activate a temporary, single-use time window that expires automatically. Perfect when leaving your phone unattended briefly or when you sense a sketchy situation that calls for immediate, short-term fingerprint disablement.

I think it's a reasonable concern, and while I have a couple ideas on bandaids, perhaps someone will implement it. A toggle in the "Modes" settings might work well.

For a bandaid I have two suggestions:

For your temporary case you can press and hold power and select "Lockdown". This will disable biometrics and fallback to your PIN/Password.

For an automatic option you could use Tasker. There is a premade "profile" that I just tested.

The profile puts the phone in lockdown when the screen turns off. You'd just make a schedule, during which that profile would be applied.

There may be a way to do this otherwise, but I'm not sure how.
