Text messages not receiving on secondary users

I mostly use a secondary user when at work and after the last update I can no longer receive SMS messages under secondary users, but I can still send messages. I'm forced over to the main user to see if any text messages have been received or not. I've checked my system settings under the main following this guide

Did not resolve my issue.
Pixel 9 pro fold
Build 2026042100

Both tried using the default SMS app and QUIK
What could be causing my issue?

To add to the confusion if I send myself s text it'll show as sent but doesn't show as received until I leave the app, go to it's App info and tap Force Stop then reopen the app does a new message show as received. Could I have messed up a setting under the main profile?
