Background:
I flashed GrapheneOS following the official instructions, successfully activated Google Fi, then decided to revert to stock. I used the GrapheneOS site's instructions to unlock the bootloader and erase keys, then reflashed the latest public release via the Google Web Flasher.
Current issue:
Google Fi can no longer be activated after returning to stock.
Symptoms:
EID shown as all zeros
The Google Fi app says my SIM is not recognized and prompts me to reinsert it but the Pixel 10 has no physical SIM tray (eSIM only)
The EID is showing as all zeros
Under Settings → SIMs, a Google Fi entry appears with my number, but there's no indication it's an eSIM
Tapping into that SIM entry shows no APNs configured (I recall having to set these manually on GrapheneOS)
What I've tried:
Settings → System → Reset Options → Erase eSIMs, I enter my PIN but nothing happens afterward
Settings → System → Reset Options → Reset Mobile Network Settings, also no visible effect
A quick search suggests the eSIM chip may not be reading correctly, possibly due to something in the flash/revert process. Is this accurate? Has anyone run into this after going back to stock from GrapheneOS?
Any guidance appreciated.
